The International Digital Transformation Conference (IDTC) aims to explore the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in digital transformation and to provide a platform for government officials, universities, education institutes, private sector firms, and international IT companies to exchange ideas and insights.

Mr. Yacoub Saad

With over 15 years of experience in managing a broad portfolio of aid and development projects, Yacoub has made significant contributions both in Palestine and globally. Since 2020, Yacoub Saad holds the position of Project Advisor at GIZ’s E-Governance in Palestine and the MENA region program. Yacoub supports the local governance sector by engaging with partners from the public, private, and academic sectors, as well as civil society, to ensure meaningful public participation and the delivery of digital services through human-centered design. His expertise in project management and digitalization has been pivotal in advancing various initiatives in Palestine and the MENA region.

Previously as the Director of Programs at Souktel Soltions, Yacoub oversaw engagements with various partners on youth programming, workforce development, agriculture, health, governance, trade, and other sectors. His field missions have taken him to Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Rwanda, Djibouti, Niger, Malawi, Senegal, the Philippines, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Serbia. Before joining Souktel, Yacoub worked as a Program Officer for the International Youth Foundation on the USAID-funded Youth Entrepreneurship Development project in Palestine, where he successfully launched Microsoft’s Ta3mal employability portal. He also oversaw the delivery of Health Information Systems for Chemonics' USAID-funded Palestinian Health Sector Reform & Development project.

Yacoub is a certified Scrum Master, Career Guidance Master Trainer, and Entrepreneurship Advisor under Microsoft’s Build Your Business Program. He holds a Master's degree in Management and Information Technology from the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Guilford College.
