Osama Dweik is a seasoned IT leader with over a decade of experience in driving digital transformation and innovation within the government sector. Currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at Hebron Municipality, he oversees the design, deployment, and maintenance of critical IT infrastructure. He leads strategic projects such as SCADA control systems, smart water meters, and municipal system integrations, ensuring efficiency, security, and long-term sustainability.
Osama is a key contributor to national committees focused on IT strategy, where he helps shape policies and frameworks for advancing government technology. His expertise includes resource optimization, and implementing large-scale systems that enhance public service delivery.
With a strong foundation in programming, IT security, and data analysis, Osama has successfully directed Hebron Municipality IT department and spearheaded cross-departmental collaboration to achieve organizational goals. He holds a Master's degree in Informatics and a B.A. in Computer Systems Engineering from Palestine Polytechnic University.
